A comparison by Heidi

Making a play is not unlike planning a party. Trying to combine the right combination of people and design and fun and snacks that will encourage people you like to pause their busy lives and come hang out with you for the evening. Last weekend we threw a play that was a party (or was it a party that was a play?) and we couldn't have been more pleased with experience.

Sometimes doing a new thing and meeting new people is hard and uncomfortable. It's so easy to sit in our seats and go through the motions as we've been trained to do. Trying new things as artists AND as audiences can be scary! But we oh-so-appreciate you taking the plunge with us. Thanks for eating our chips and drinking our wine. Thanks for laughing when things got goofy (on purpose AND on accident) and for sticking around for NEARLY AN HOUR both nights to provide feedback that is so vital for the work we make. Just between you and us, we'd be your date to any party, any day.
