Maybe you’re one of the thrilling throng to subscribe to our e-blasts and have heard the news firsthand. Or maybe you have the unique thrill of just happening upon our happy little corner of the internet and are hearing about it for the first time.* Savage Umbrella’s (outer)SPACE Fundraiser is only 5 days away! *Hello! Welcome. Can we offer you some cake?  The biggest day of our year (it can be your biggest day too, we’re not possessive) is finally upon us and boy do we have some fun in store for you! So to countdown the final days of planning and organizing and madness; here’s a list of 5 reasons you should come and party with the folks who put the “fun” in “fun”draiser! FIVE: Jams from house-DJ-for-the-night, DJ Keezy! Oh no! Where did the groove go! We know a party can't even introduce itself as a party unless there's some tasty beats to make you shake'n'quake; and DJ Keezy's just the woman to bring the funk. Check out her facebook and soundcloud and get hyped for a night of out-of-this-world music! FOUR: SPACE-based carnival games! Look at those smug, grinning, felted faces. Love the carnival midway but hate the feeling of being yelled at and made to play rigged games just so you have the honor of walking (trudging) home with a stuffed monkey twice your size? Well there's no need to fear that when you're under our umbrella! Come try your luck at games like Rings of Saturn or Asteroid Toss. We'll even be holding a SPACE Cake-Walk a little later in the evening!* *See. I wasn't kidding about the cake. THREE: Original art from local artists! Now a yearly tradition at our annual fundraiser, we have some beautiful works of art donated from some amazing local artists. If your night wasn't already picture-perfect; it certainly could be by taking home some unique and magnificent art! TWO: Have a brew with the SU crew! Doctor Mike'n'stein. If you've come to any of our past fundraisers you'll recognize the mug holding the mug. That's right! Another year of special home-brewed beer from the venerable Doc Mike! We'll also have wine supplied by Total Wine and iced tea! Hope you're thirsty ;) ONE: Sneak Peeks that'll make ya shriek!Now I know what you're thinking. After all of that, what else can we possibly throw at you to complete our countdown? You're own pet teacup pig!? No! Why would you even think that? When you join us on Monday the 24th you'll also have the privilege of getting a sneak peak at what we're working on for this upcoming season! You'll be in the know in a way that no other audience member can be. While others sit, clueless, in the theatre; you'll sit tall with a smug sense of satisfaction and superiority! And that my friends, is priceless. Whew! If that doesn't get you sprinting for your moon-boots, I don't know what will. Music. Games. Original artwork. Food and beer.
