Last week, we promised you a season announcement. And listen, it was reeeeaalllyy hard for us to keep it a secret all week (especially because Carl made these super sweet graphics)! SWEET DREAMS, ALFIEOCTOBER 2015 Conceived by Russ Dugger Written by Russ Dugger & Laura Leffler-McCabe SWEET DREAMS, ALFIE is psychological horror smeared with blood and pock-marked with brevity, embodying the claustrophobic, hopeless feeling that comes part-and-parcel with existential dread. Presented at Savage Umbrella’s SPACE in St. Paul. In which we share our deepest, darkest secrets... JUNEFEBRUARY 2016 Conceived and written by Hannah K. Holman Set in pre-Stonewall America, JUNE explores the roles we play and the secrets we hide. Building on the work developed through the July 2014 workshop, the full production will dig even deeper into themes of love, identity, and fear. Movement, text, and music combine to unearth sweet desires and strange dreams. Presented as part of ARTshare at the Southern Theater in Minneapolis. In which we play in SPACE... NIGHT OF NEW WORKSAPRIL 2016 Curated by Lisa Brimmer, Hannah K. Holman, & Laura Leffler-McCabe Savage Umbrella will offer mentorship to emerging theater makers interested in creating new work for the stage through collaborative processes.
