Last week we sounded the trumpet announcing our 2015-2016 season. It's pretty awesome. But this week we'd like to toot some other folks' horns ;P

GOOD JOB HORSES: 
Theatre Forever

One of the great things about ARTshare is that it gives us the space to create and support new work like Theatre Forever's GOOD JOB HORSES. This Western-inspired tale of three outlaws headed towards a shootout at High Moon (you read that right) comes with all of Theatre Forever's signatures - strong physical moments, a sense of floating absurdity, and moments of magical transformation. The play will probably change over the course of its run as the cast grow into their roles, which is all the better for your unlimited access ARTshare membership.

HAMLET:
Theatre Unbound

There's something in the mantra "Less is more" that really underscores the best moments of Theatre Unbound's HAMLET at the Tek Box. One gender onstage with the all-female cast, one costume and set color with an all-white look that lets the lighting work magic, and when the play is really clicking, lots of space to let Shakespeare's words do their work.You can keep your nunnery, get thee to the theater.

WAR WITH THE NEWTS:
Sandbox Theatre

I've been a huge fan of the Sandbox folks for a while now, so it's not surprising that I'm super pumped to see WAR WITH THE NEWTS on Park Square's new Andy Boss Thrust Stage. I mean, what's not to love about anthropomorphic newts, right? The costumes look incredible, the story seems weird/wonderful, and the soundscape is bound to be out of this world. This show is definitely on my must-see list. (Bonus: Sandbox will be whipping up another new show later this year for ARTshare! The awesomeness never ends.)

TWELFTH NIGHT:
Mu Performing Arts

Anyone who truly knows me, knows I do my best to avoid The Bard. But Twelfth Night has always had a special place in my heart. The characters are classic, the humor is on point and with Randy Reyes at the helm I know this is one ship that won't be crashing off the coast of Illyria.
