Hey there, Theatre-Creatures! We’ve spent the last two weeks kicking off rehearsals for our upcoming Fringe show--PENELOPE—in a mini-workshop with our cast, company, and other guests! Since its workshop in summer 2015, PENELOPE has changed juuust a bit in form, transforming from an indoor variety show to an outdoor BBQ party, so we thought it was apt to start setting the scene outside.
Welcome back Savage Umbrella ellas and fellas!
This week our very own and very talented Lisa Marie Brimmer has some thoughts to share about transplanting creative control and why she's so excited to share our next workshop production: INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY. - Russ We are just bursting from all the new work joy that was thrown around during NIGHT OF NEW WORKS this month. The daring, exciting, experimental work of Harrison, Katie, and unconscious collective performance was witnessed by 184 of you lovers.
